Senior Mechanical Engineer
Minimum Requirements:
  • Client relationship, team leadership and communication
  • Program planning and management including scheduling, and budgeting
  • Technical leadership and hands-on design development
  • Flexibility of thought and development processes

    The ideal candidate would have a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or equivalent and 10 or more years experience in the following areas:

  • Hands-on experience managing interdisciplinary teams resulting in a proven track record in schedule and budget performance in the process of bringing new products into production
  • Complete product life cycle experience - architecture, engineering, transfer manufacturing, and stringent QA goals
  • Experience bringing new products into production including: examples of work involving industrial design, electrical design and manufacturing specialists to optimize a product solution
  • Expert level experience in architecting, designing, documenting, and manufacturing of mid to high volume complex consumer and/or medical products
  • Expert knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, die casting, and sheet metal stamping
  • Strong working use of analytical techniques to support part and system level designs including basic calculations, structural Finite Element Analysis, and Thermal Analysis
  • Working experience with quality control procedures including ISO 9000
  • 3-D solid modeling experience in Pro /Engineer Wildfire and Solidworks
  • Experienced in working with industrial designers, product marketing and user interface design
